On May 4, 2022, a group of UWED teachers attended a chamber music concert - "Piano masterpieces of women composers", which was held in the Organ Hall of the State Conservatory of Uzbekistan.

The idea to draw general attention to the work of women composers as a special area of musical art belongs to the talented Uzbek pianist, author of many unique musical projects and concert programs, Honored Artist of Uzbekistan, Professor Adiba Sharipova. Her idea was enthusiastically supported by a team of like-minded musicians who took part in the concert: Iroda Rikhsieva (dutar) and Asene Ovchinnikova (violin). The program of the evening consisted of chamber compositions by women composers from different countries and eras, starting from the 19th century - the era of romanticism and up to the present time. The audience was presented with piano works by Clara Wieck (Germany), Sophia Gubaidulina (Russia-Tatarstan), Zarina Mirshakar (Tajikistan), Khurshida Khasanova and Dilorom Amanullaeva (Uzbekistan), as well as two duets: “Spring Song” for violin and piano by Lily Boulanger (France) and "Variations on a Theme of Paganini" for dutar and piano by Hiromi Yano (Japan). Masterpieces of piano art performed by talented musicians were performed.
