On April 22, 2022 at the University of World Economy and Diplomacy UNESCO Department of International Law and Human Rights organized an international scientific-practical conference on "Current Issues of International Law".

Currently, the New development Strategy of Uzbekistan for 2022-2026 aims to "improve the regulatory framework of foreign policy and foreign economic activity and the treaty-based legal framework of international cooperation".Crucial measures are being implemented to intensify the participation of our country in international and regional organizations, including the World Trade Organization and the Eurasian Economic Union, the expansion of close legal relations with foreign countries, the improvement of national legislation on the basis of international standards. Therefore, the purpose of the international scientific-practical conference is to discuss current issues of international law in the context of global transformation processes, including digital transformation, exchange opinions and develop practical recommendations on trends and prospects of development of international law as a legal system and discipline in the world and in Uzbekistan particularly.

The conference addressed the problems of public international law: the current status and prospects of development, development of international legal science, protection of human rights, relevant aspects of law and practice of the World Trade Organization, as well as issues of legal regulation of cooperation of the Republic of Uzbekistan in the political, economic, cultural and humanitarian spheres.

This conference is intended to develop relevant recommendations, as well as a publication of scientific articles and abstracts of the conference.
