First Deputy Chairman of the Senate and the Rector of the University of World Economy and Diplomacy S. Safoev met with activists of public education in the Yangikhayot district of Tashkent

On April 19, rector of UWED S. Safoev and professor-teachers of the university met with the activists of public education in the Yangikhayot district of Tashkent at a meeting organized at the 330th secondary school in the Yangikhayot district.

In the course of this important discussions a detailed information is given on the tasks set for higher education institutions during the videoconference meeting on April 5, dedicated to improving the quality of education in schools.

The meaning and essence of the development strategy of Uzbekistan for 2022-2026 is thoroughly explained by S. Safoev covering political, legal, socio-economic, scientific and educational nature, as well as peace and stability in the country, in particular, the implementation of a fair social policy. It was noted that the issue of quality education, which is the most important factor in the development of human capital, will be in the center of constant attention.

In order to ensure the implementation of the tasks set by the country’s public education system to improve the qualifications of teachers and a sharp increase in the quality of teaching in schools, 16 secondary schools of the Yangikhayot district is attached to the UWED to improve the quality of education and the professional skills of teachers, as well as methodological support and coordination of work that will be accomplished in this direction. Future tasks and plans as well as the better coordination of works also agreed during the meeting.
