"What should a woman diplomat be like?"

On April 20th of this year, University of world economy and diplomacy hosted a meeting of the head of the department of Management of personnel and educational institutions of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Sh. Zakirova with university students on the topic: "What should a woman diplomat be like?".

Doctor of Political Science, Professor Sultanova Ettibor Siddikovna opened the meeting by presenting the brief biography and work of Sh. Zakirovs to participants.

Afterwards, the floor was given to Sh. Zakirova, who shared her broad experience and gave valuable advice to university students. Sh. Zakirova noted that in recent years, special attention is being paid to gender equality issues in our country. The guest thanked the participants of the meeting and its organizers for their interest and said that she was glad to meet with girls, who are ready to devote themselves to diplomacy.

E. Sultanova introduced the guest to the work of Women's Council, Club of girl leaders and Union of women scientists, functioning at the university.

Then, representatives of the Club of girl leaders – students of the Faculty of International Relations - M. Ilmiddinova and S. Sattarova made presentations on following topics: "The image of a modern woman leader" and "The image of a woman leader of the New Uzbekistan".

In conclusion, E. Sultanova stressed that the students of UWED should earnestly strive towards their goals and be a role model for themselves, in the first place, and others. At the end of the meeting, students thanked the organizers of the meeting and received answers to all their questions.
