UWED students visited an exhibition on the theme "Dreams of Italy" at the Embassy of the Italian Republic in Tashkent

March 24, 2022 marks the 30th anniversary of the conclusion of an establishment of relationship between Republic of Uzbekistan and Italian Republic.

On this occasion a thematic exhibition on the theme “Dreams of Italy” was held in the building of the Embassy of the Italian Republic in Tashkent.

The event was attended by representatives of the diplomatic corps and international organizations in the Republic of Uzbekistan, state representatives and higher educational institutions, the general public and the media.

By the invitation of the Embassy, ​​representatives of the UWED participated in the exhibition - the head of the Department of Romano-Germanic Languages ​​Mamatkasimova V., teachers of the Italian language Madrakhimova M. and Abduganiyev Sh., students of the Faculty of International Law - Nasimjonov A., Khaidarova A., Nizomiddinova K., Kakhramonova Sh., students of the Faculty of International Economic Relations - Abzalkhanova D., and Rahmonov S.

At the opening ceremony of the exhibition, the Ambassador of the Italian Republic to the Republic of Uzbekistan, Mr. Agostino Pinna, warmly welcomed the guests, and emphasized that the interaction between Uzbekistan and Italy has become a strong partnership, as evidenced by regular communication at various levels and formats.

It was noted that the purpose of the thematic exhibition is the development of all forms of cultural cooperation and communication between peoples, the mutual exchange of cultural achievements, the promotion of joint creative activity, art, and the active promotion of mutual enrichment of national cultures.
