"Dialogue among civilizations - an important factor in the development of public diplomacy"

On April 12, the Wyndham Tashkent Hotel hosted a scientific and practical seminar "Dialogue among civilizations - an important factor in the development of public diplomacy", organized jointly with the Konrad Adenauer Foundation in Uzbekistan, the Shanghai Cooperation Organization in Uzbekistan, the Center for Public Diplomacy, the Center for Islamic Civilization in Uzbekistan.

Professor of our university, doctor of political sciences Sultanova Etibor Sidikovna took part in the event with a report on the topic "Intercultural dialogue in the era of globalization."

The report revealed a new approach to understanding today's globalization at a new stage: based on the idea of   advancing humanity, raising human dignity to a higher level.  The idea was put forward that when peoples understand each other, not only through formal diplomatic relations, but also through culture, science, education, tourism, sports, inter-ethnic, inter-religious relations, it will be possible to counter global challenges and threats.
