The President outlined a new system of support for women, according to which "The Development Strategy of New Uzbekistan also provides for the creation of favorable conditions for women and support for their initiatives".

It was noted that to ensure the systematic implementation of these important tasks, a Decree was signed on the establishment of the State Committee for Family and Women Affairs.

At the event, Vice-Rector for Youth Affairs and Spiritual and Educational Affairs O. Yusufjonov paid attention to this issue and gave various examples from our past. The Vice-Rector also emphasized that women in the history of our thousand-year-old statehood are our great ancestors, who were skillful leaders and politicians, who have always been wise, courageous, and selfless. And our life today, and our bright future, is certainly connected with the family and the pillars of society, with women who are the grace and beauty of our lives.

The speaker spoke in detail about the attitude towards women and the work done in our country in recent years. For example, in 2021, 2 trillion sums of loans and subsidies were allocated for the implementation of more than 200 thousand projects under the Women's Entrepreneurship Program, 320 thousand women were provided with permanent jobs. In 2021, 190,000 women will be recruited and trained in various professions. About 900,000 women received socio-economic, medical, legal, and psychological assistance according to the Women's Notebook list compiled in 2020. At the same time, in 2021 alone, more than 4,000 women were allocated money to help with the initial cost of housing. Two thousand girls were admitted to universities based on separate grants, and about two thousand girls who entered the school were paid by the state. It should be noted that by 2021, 60% of university students were women.

At the same time, the low proportion of some of our women in the exact sciences, engineering, and law has now dropped from 24% to 40%, and the ability to send 10 people to a master's program is one of the most significant achievements. in our modern history.

S. Tillakhodzhaeva, Deputy Chairman of the Women's Council of the University, said that the selection meeting chaired by the President took place on the eve of the spring holiday, which has a certain symbolic meaning. It was very pleasant to note important tasks before the holiday, which are aimed at supporting women in every possible way. It is well known that from the first days of his presidency, the head of our state brought the issue of ensuring the rights and interests of women, increasing their economic, social and political activity to the level of state policy, took several decisions, and orders in this direction. We achieve high results. For example, in the current academic year, at the expense of the budget, children from low-income families, including in the "women's notebook" by decree of the President, were accepted for education. We also believe that creating conditions for distance learning for students with young children is an opportunity given to our young mothers. Their role in the upbringing of children is also very important. Therefore, the head of state said that “by raising our children good-natured, mothers of the nation should first of all be brought up and brought up.”
