The Department of Uzbek and Russian Languages ​​of the University of World Economy and Diplomacy organized the competition “From National Revival to National Progress” on the occasion of the 581st anniversary of the birth of the great poet and thinker Alisher Navoi and the 539th anniversary of the birth of Zahiriddin Muhammad Babur.

The competition was attended by 50 UWED students studying in different areas.

Following the results of the competition, the following students won:

Essay competition on the topics “Alisher Navoi and the modern world” and “Babur-politician”:

  1. Mahmudjon Madadov - International Law, 4th year, 1st place;
  2. Sardor Jiyanov - International Law, 2nd year, 2nd place;
  3. Parinomai Behbud Amirkulova - International Law, 1st year, 3rd place.

Competition of journalistic articles on the topic “The image and creativity of Navoi through the eyes of students of the XXI century” among students under the special program “Navoi and youth”:

  1. Akobir Rashidov - International Law, 2nd year, 1st place;
  2. Nodirbek Ernazarov - International Relations, 1st year, 2nd place.
