"Meeting of two generations"

The University of World Economy and Diplomacy held a spiritual and educational event “Meeting of two generations" between Professor Mavlanov Ibrahim Radzhabovich and students in the Аssembly hall of the building 'B’ on the 14^th of February of this year. During the event, I.R. Mavlanov shared his life experience. In particular, the professor noted that for many years he held the positions of head of the diplomatic mission of Uzbekistan in Latvia, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to India and Bangladesh, as well as the First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs. He also elaborated on the qualities that should be possessed by persons engaged in diplomatic relations. A diplomat who carries out diplomatic relations has high intellectual potential, good education, strong spirituality and psyche, understands the interests of the state well and is ready to sacrifice his life for the sake of his people in any situation.

At the end of the event, I.R.Mavlanov informed the university students about the course "International Economic Negotiations", in particular, and about his readiness to provide all possible assistance in their scientific activities in this direction. The spiritual and educational event "Meeting of two generations" was organized in an open and friendly atmosphere.
