Book presentation

In honor of the 539th anniversary of the birth of Zahiriddin Muhammad Babur, the University of World Economy and Diplomacy hosted a presentation of a book by Doctor of Economics, Professor, Mavlanov Ibragim Rajabovich on the topic “The system of governance of the Baburid dynasty in India (some aspects)”.

During the presentation, special attention was paid to the personality of Zahiriddin Muhammad Bobur, information was provided about his importance in the history of India, his activities and promising cooperation with other countries. He also noted about the contribution of Z.M. Bobur to the formation of Indian and Iranian culture, as well as to India's practical initiatives to establish economic relations with Asian countries, in particular, it was emphasized that intensive development of trade relations is carried out through the Great Silk Road.

It is worth noting that Zahiriddin Mohammed Bobur, literally, as the founder of a large empire, nevertheless coped with the situation of the economic crisis, which has long been a problem in India, and also created a perfect tax system.

As part of the presentation, Professor of the Department of International Relations, Doctor of Historical Sciences Farmonov Rakhmon Farmonovich noted that many works were written on the activities of the Baburid dynasty, but this book has acquired a completely new meaning, in particular, as a new scientific treatise, being an economic and political source for Uzbekistan.
