Scientific and pedagogical activity of women UWED

At the University of World Economy and Diplomacy, about 80 women are scientists, teachers and carry out scientific activities, about 170 women employees successfully work in various structures, departments - management, marketing, as well as resource, service sectors and other spheres. Seven women scientists are heads of departments, eight people hold leadership positions at various levels. So, the vice-rector for science and innovation is Doctor of Law Gulnoza Ismailova, the head of the personnel department is Dilfuza Normetova, the director of the university library is a specialist with many years of experience Irina Ivanovna Klimitenko, the head of the practice department is Diloro Riskidinova, and others. All these women-scientists, employees were spoken about at the solemn event of the UWED, held during the celebration of the Constitution Day of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
The presentation of the book by Doctor of Political Sciences, Professor Etibor Siddikovna Sultanova "Gоzal Qalbli insonlar." (“About personalities with beautiful hearts. About women and teachers of UWED). This publication reflects the multifaceted and selfless work of women teachers, candidates and doctors of sciences, professors, associate professors, teachers, their educational and organizational activities at the university and in republican, international organizations. Among them are associate professor G.M. Rakhmatullaeva, professor, doctor of jurisprudence S.M. Odilkhodzhaeva, Doctor of Physics and Mathematics, Professor G.M. Raimova, Head of the Department of Theory of Economics L.M. Tashpulatova, associate professor I.A. Cherkashinа and others.
In her opening remarks, E. Sultanova noted that Uzbekistan pays great attention to increasing the role of the status of women and girls in society, supporting talented and creative individuals, because our modern youth, their mentors, teachers have a great responsibility to develop and strengthen ideas in the Third Renaissance.
As the chairman of the Council of Women of the UWED, Professor E.S. Sultanova is doing a lot of scientific and organizational work. She is also the chairman of the Specialized Council for the defense of doctoral dissertations at the Tashkent State University of Oriental Studies, the chairman of the «Olima» Union in Tashkent, the deputy chairman of the Commission for awarding the Zulfiya State Prize. For her merits in active cooperation with the SCO Center in Tashkent, participation in the organization and holding of international forums, E. S. Sultanova was awarded the title of "People's Diplomat". She was also awarded high government awards and certificates of honor.
The director of the SCO Center for People's Diplomacy in Uzbekistan, Kabulzhan Kasymovich Sobirov, took part in the solemn events. He spoke about the activities of the Center, its history, tasks, and also expressed gratitude to the UWED staff for the assistance and expansion of cooperation in various aspects and directions. Within the framework of this forum, the presentation of a collection of articles prepared on the basis of the materials of the Tashkent Forum of Women Leaders of the SCO Countries was presented to women - scientists of the university, authors of articles.
The collection includes articles "Women's leadership in modern international relations" by E.S. Sultanova, "Enhancing the socio-economic activities of women in Uzbekistan in ensuring the Sustainable Development Goals" by L.M. Tashpulatova, "The contribution of women to science and technology" by G.M. Raimova, “The role of women in the ecological development of society in the SCO countries” by S.T. Turaeva, “Woman is in the center of attention of society and the state” by U. Sharipova and others.
Among the participants in the events, they also made their proposals on the topic of cooperation with the Center for People's Diplomacy, the head of the department L.M. Tashpulatova, editor of the University publishing department S.Kh. Yusupova and others. All the forum participants were presented with gifts and copies of two published books - "Qоzal Qalbli insonlar" and "Enhancing the role of women leaders in ensuring sustainable development".
