The international conference "Human Rights Education: International Experience and National Practice" was held on December 10-11. It was attended by the heads, professors and teachers of the National Center for Human Rights, the Academies of the General Prosecutor's Office and the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the University of World Economy and Diplomacy, as well as the Tashkent State University of Law.

At the conference, a draft of the National Educational Program in the field of human rights was presented and the prospects for this direction were considered. The experts analyzed in detail the domestic practice of creating an educational consortium and foreign experience in this area.

In particular, the Vice-Rector for Science and Innovation of the University of World Economy and Diplomacy Pr. Gulnoza Ismailova made a presentation on this topic and expressed her opinion.

According to the results of the conference, in order to develop education in the field of human rights, the National Center for Human Rights, the University of World Economy and Diplomacy, the Tashkent State University of Law and the Academy of the General Prosecutor's Office agreed to develop a joint master's program in International Human Rights Law, as well as create a Consortium for its implementation.

At the end of the conference, the winners of the republican competition “Digital Generation. Human rights education during the COVID-19 pandemic” were awarded. The first place in the nomination "The best article on human rights and freedoms" was taken by the teacher of the Department “Theory of Law and Public Administration” of the UWED Shahlo Safarova.
