The UWED continues a series of lectures on Japan, organized with the assistance of the JICA Representative Office in Uzbekistan.

As part of this event, the teaching staff and UWED students on November 4 had the opportunity to listen to a lecture by the President of JICA Dr. Kitaoka Chiniti on Meizhi Restoration: Modernizing Japan. The lecture aroused keen interest among the students. Upon completion of the presentation of the President of JICA Dr. Kitaoka Chiniti answered questions from the audience.

The continuation was (was) a lecture by a professor at the University of Tokyo, a specialist in the history of Japanese economy, Dr. OKAZAKI Tetsuji on the topic "Industrial development of Japan after the Second World War."

A professor at the University of Tokyo told UWED students about the post-war period of the Japanese economy, identified three main stages of its development. I briefed those present on the main strategic tasks of economic recovery and its growth in the post-war period of Japan.

Dr. OKAZAKI Tetsuji, noted the main points of the implementation of the plan for the revival and development of industry in Japan.

Upon completion of the lecture, Dr. OKAZAKI Tetsuji answered questions from the audience, after which a discussion and exchange of views on the ongoing economic reforms in Japan to maintain economic stability took place.
