COMPETITION "CONSTITUTION IN THE EYE OF A CHILD" from the UWED Street Law team and the Department of Theory of Law and Public Administration of the University of World Economy and Diplomacy

The UWED Street Law team and the Department of Theory of Law and Public Administration of the University of World Economy and Diplomacy, in honor of the adoption of the Constitution of the Republic of Uzbekistan on December 8, 1992, held a drawing competition on December 4, 2021 among the pupils of the Republican educational institution for girls of the Chinaz region, as well as On December 3, she announced a competition for boys from the Correctional Colony for Juveniles No. 24 in Zangiota District.
The Street Law team, in cooperation with professors fnd 2nd year students of of the University of World Economy and Diplomacy, announced the organization of a talent competition among minors to increase their legal culture, promote their study of the Constitution of the Republic of Uzbekistan, as well as manifest their creative potential. Participants of the competition from Chinaz were given the opportunity to demonstrate their vision of the importance of the Constitution for Uzbekistan through their drawings. Participants from the Zangiota correctional colony will also be given the opportunity to demonstrate their talents not only through drawings, but also through crafts, handicrafts, and so on.
Director of the Legal Clinic at UWED Z.S. Ubaydullaev noted that: “This competition contributed to the study by children of the role of the Constitution in civil society, which, of course, corresponds to the goals and objectives of the Street Law project - the promotion of legal knowledge among minors. Moreover, the work of pupils and pupils of these institutions on something creative will undoubtedly unite and motivate children to achieve more and work on themselves! .
The competition was already held in Chinaz on December 4, 2021, where the girls impressed the judges with their talent and knowledge of the Constitution. 10 girls-winners were chosen, who most of all were able not only to beautifully draw a picture, but also to convey, tell its meaning. They were awarded with memorable gifts and diplomas.
Very soon the team will travel to Zangiotin correctional colony No. 24 to evaluate the drawings prepared by the inmates of this institution.
