UWED hosted a meeting with Professor of the University of London Regents Yossi Mekelberg

On November 8, 2021, the University of World Economy and Diplomacy hosted a lecture by Yossi Meckelberg, Professor of Regents University of London, Senior Scientific Advisor of the Chatham House analytical center, who gave a lecture on international processes in the Middle East. In his lecture, he spoke about new trends in the Middle East region, about the prospects for Uzbek-Israeli relations, touched upon the topic of preventing and resolving conflicts, expressing his ideas on the example of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. At the end of the lecture, students asked questions on topics of their interest and got detailed answers to them. The meeting was held in a friendly atmosphere and proposals were made to increase the number of lectures by prominent professors of British universities.
