The following contests will be held at UWED as part of the month of events dedicated to the Uzbek Language Day.

  1. "The fate of our native language is in our hands!" - a competition of journalistic articles; (Deadline is October 18. Winners' articles will be published in the press.)
  2. Competition of essays on the theme: "The longevity of the people is in their language"; (Deadline is October 16.)
  3. Competition of videos on the basis of the program "Mother tongue does not die" among university students. (Deadline is October 20.)
  4. Competition of works of young artists under the motto "My native language, powerful, kind, You are the victorious dream of the Turkic world - I will write you, the resurrected world".  (Creative students can participate with their own poems, stories, and screenplays.) (Deadline is October 20.);
