UWED teachers held an event dedicated to the presidential interview in the newspaper "New Uzbekistan”

In order to ensure the implementation of the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan “On preparation for the Thirty-Year holiday of the state independence of the Republic of Uzbekistan and its transfer at a high level” was held a spiritual and educational meeting in the mahalla of “Beshkapa” Mirzo Ulugbek district.  This event was attended by professors, teachers and students of the University of World Economy and Diplomacy, as well as active people of the mahalla.

Deputy Dean of the faculty of International relations Sayyora Tillahodzhaeva acquainted the participants with the essence and content of the interview of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev to the newspaper “New Uzbekistan” on August 17 this year. In the creation of the new Uzbekistan, special attention paid to foreign policy, development of friendly relations with foreign countries and harmonious aspects of domestic and foreign policy.

At the event teacher of the faculty of International law N.Kadirova spoke in detail about the reforms carried out in our country in recently years and explained the meanings of ideas “People's satisfaction with life is the highest and fair assessment given to our work”, “Not the people should serve the state, but government bodies should serve the people”, “People should live well not tomorrow, not in the distant future, but today”. She stressed that these changes are most important with the focus primarily on the full provision of human rights and freedoms in the country.

Then, the teacher of the faculty of International relations Dilnoza Khudoyberganova gave information about the six priority tasks of the development of the country put forward by the head of our state. She also shared her views on the broad opportunities that are currently being highlighted for the youth of our country.
