First Online UWED Vis Moot Summer School

We are pleased to inform that the First Online Vis Moot Summer School was organized for students of International Law faculty by a senior teacher of the department of “International Private Law and Civil Law Disciplines” Farangis Khasanova. The Summer school lasted from the 2^nd to 10^th of August, 2021.

The Summer School trainings were focused on acquiring the necessary skills for an effective participation in Vis Moot. In particular, the trainings aimed at developing hard skills such as analyzing the facts of the problem, research skills, legal analysis, legal writing skills and oral advocacy. In addition to the above-mentioned hard skills, students also realized the importance of enhancing soft skills such as teamwork, time management and networking.

The trainings were conducted by following specialists, previous members of UWED Vis Moot team: lawyers of Azizov & Partners firm of advocates Abdulaziz Jurajonov, Abdumalik Mukhtorov, Maksud Mirjonov and Feruza Abdullayeva; a lawyer of “My Lawyer” law firm Jakhongir Azatov, a leading specialist of the Intellectual Property Agency Javokhir Kurbanov and UWED graduate Azizbek Suyunboyev. Besides, senior students of International Law faculty Mokhlaroyim Zokirova and Mekhriniso Djumanazarova also contributed a lot.
