International scientific conference on "Problems of the Aral Sea and Aral Sea region" was held

Since 2018, the professors and teachers of the University of Koryo of Seoul have been holding scientific conferences and meetings with their colleagues in UWED within the framework of the forum's experts on Global problems.

Scientists of these universities decided to attract students and young people to the research of the Aral Sea and the Aral Sea region complex this year. A special project was developed for them, was held a presentation of its online video conference. The aim is to formulate the skills of the students of the two countries to work as a team in a single group, to study the political, economic and social situation in the region in-depth, to prepare new scientific conclusions, to give their recommendations on the application of new technologies necessary for the region, and to initiate a volunteering movement among young people.

During this online video conference, students and young people got acquainted with each other closely, discussed their research plans and outlined the activities under the plan, as well as working groups consisting of two university students and young people, after the quarantine measures were softened, will visit the city of Moynoq, the Aral Sea region to collect materials for their research, hold meetings and will share with their peers in the region.
