Meetings with the ambassadors of foreign countries on the establishment of the Center for in-depth teaching of foreign languages, which is organized on the initiative of the head of our state at the University of world economy and diplomacy, are continuing. Today one of such meetings was held with Indian Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Uzbekistan Manish Prabhat. The head of the diplomatic mission was accompanied by Ms Sipra Ghosh ambassador advisor and Professor Chander Shekhar, Director Lal Bahadur Shastri Centre for Indian Culture.

Rector of the University Komiljon Karimov thanked the guests for the meeting and informed about UWED and its international partners, the experience of Personnel Training in the diplomacy, shared views on the current state of the multi-year partnership established between our countries, practical cooperation in the fields of education, health, culture and publishing-printing. After that, the honourable guest noted that the strategic partner Uzbekistan and India are strengthening large-scale relations in various spheres. He highly appreciated the existing system of training qualified personnel in UWED, their wide outlook, deep knowledge and foreign language skills.

After that, K.Karimov informed the Ambassador on the issues related to the structure of the English language at the Center for in-depth teaching of foreign languages in UWED. At the center, which will be established on the instructions and initiative of the President of our country Shavkat Mirziyoyev, 10 foreign languages will learn this year. Through this, it is aimed to improve the knowledge and skills of civil servants, professors and teachers of schools and universities, as well as students in foreign languages.

During the meeting, H.E. Manish Prabhat stated that the Indian Embassy is ready to provide educational literature, specialists and other necessary tools for the English-language structure of the center, and also invited students to provide a choice of Hindi language to Urdu learners. If young people are interested in this area, the embassy is ready to offer specialists for teaching the Hindi.

The dialogue, held in a bilateral friendly spirit, ended with the discussion of new plans for the development of cooperation between the parties.
