Online communication with the UAE embassy was established

The University of world economy and diplomacy is continuing cooperation negotiations on the establishment of the Center for advanced learning of foreign languages for specialists in various fields. One of such meetings was held online with the deputy of UAE Ambassador to Uzbekistan Rashed Al Mazrui. In the beginning, the rector of the University Komiljon Karimov told the representative of the diplomatic corps of the UAE about UWED, its potential for training specialists and future prospects. He also stressed the great interest of university students and researchers in studying UAE diplomacy, economics, its stages of development. In order to increase the potential of personnel in our country, to create conditions for their perfect acquisition of knowledge and skills, as well as foreign languages, the initiative of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev has been established at the Center for in-depth teaching of foreign languages in UWED. Mr Rashed Al Mazrui was offered bilateral cooperation in establishing the Arabic language structure in this center.

After that, the representative of the embassy of the United Arab Emirates thanked the university leadership for this cooperation and confidence. The representative of the embassy highly assessment of the importance of the language in the development of diplomatic relations and cooperation between the countries. He noted that the training of civil servants, teachers of schools and universities, as well as various foreign languages for students and young people in the center will create a basis for the development of such relations and improving the quality of personnel in Uzbekistan. He said that he was happy to provide practical assistance in matters of cooperation and the organization of a specialized structure for teaching Arabic at the center.

At the end of the conversation, the Rector of UMED invited the UAE Ambassador to Uzbekistan, Mr. Saeed Matar Sultan Al-Siri Al-Kamzi, to the university to give lectures for our students and researchers.
