Talks were held with the Japanese ambassador on the Center for in-depth teaching of foreign languages

Today in UWED was held the visit of the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Japan to Uzbekistan H.E. Yoshinori Fujiyama. Having welcomed the distinguished guest, the rector of the University Komiljon Karimov noted the development of cooperation between Japanese educational institutions and UWED, the organization of cycle lectures of Japanese professors for students and researchers, the activity of the Japanese Embassy in cultural and educational events. After that, the ambassador expressed gratitude to the leadership of UWED for the further development of Uzbek-Japanese relations and support of students' interest in Japanese language and culture.

At the University of world economy and diplomacy, organizational issues on establishment of Japanese language in the center of in-depth teaching of foreign languages to specialists of various fields were also discussed at the meeting between the parties. In this center, civil workers, professors, teachers and young people can strengthen their knowledge of foreign languages.

Japanese Ambassador Yoshinori Fujiyama highly appreciated Japanese language teaching at this center and said that this will create a basis for increasing the quality and number of personnel familiar with the language and culture of the country. He expressed his readiness to cooperate with UWED in providing the necessary tools for its activities, qualified Japanese language specialists.
