The Aral Sea issue was discussed

Adviser to the Rector of the University of world economy and diplomacy, member of the expert group of the Committee on Development of the Aral Sea Region of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis, Doctor of Political Science, Professor Shuhrat Goyibnazarov was invited to an interview with "Uzbekistan" radio channel of NTRC.

In the center of the discussion was the adoption of a resolution declaring the region of the Aral sea zone of environmental innovations and technologies proposed by the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirzieev at the plenary session of the 75th session of the UN General Assembly, as well as its historical significance and prospects.

Sh.Goibnazarov noted that in Uzbekistan began a period of radical changes, some 60 countries have become sponsors of the draft resolution, and that this process is yet another international recognition of Uzbek diplomacy.
