Students of the IEM faculty took part in Japanese Culture Days

25-29 May at the Ikuo Hirayama international cultural Caravanserai there are days of Japanese culture in Uzbekistan. At the opening ceremony 2nd-course students of the Faculty of International Economics and management of UWED under the leadership of Head of the Department of Oriental Languages, Head of the Japan Research Analytical Center Hakima Gafurova were attended. The organizers of this project are: The Academy of Arts of Uzbekistan, the Embassy of Japan in the Republic of Uzbekistan, the International Caravanserai of Culture of Ikuo Hirayama, the Uzbek-Japanese Center and the Uzbekistan-Japan Friendship Society.

In the framework of the days of Japanese culture, traditional Japanese kimono, women's belt – "obi", Japanese fan, dolls and Japanese cuisine are presented. Japanese traditional calligraphy art will also include shodo, tea ceremony, sumie, kyrie (Japanese applique), Japanese dessert making, and Japanese master-classes and demonstrations.
