Career day for graduates and students was held

In order to strengthen the knowledge gained by students in the University of world economy and diplomacy with practice, to organize productive use of their free time, as well as to provide graduates with a permanent place of work, holding the “Vacancies Fair” has become a tradition. On may 21, the turn of such fairs was organized. In total, more than 200 employers from ministries and departments, international organizations and enterprises of the Republic took part in it with allocated jobs for young people.

For the participants of the fair, the following were held:

• Meeting with representatives of ministries and leading companies
• Vacancies and skill-building programs
• Recommendations for creating and editing a resume, preparing for an interview
• Educational and creative master-classes.

This major event allowed the employer to get acquainted with many graduates within a few hours, and the job seeker to study the labor market, establish contact with the representative of the organization.

In UWED, from time immemorial, special attention was paid to the involvement of students in practice and the establishment of an inseparable connection between employers and the University. In the current year, 486 graduates are expected to graduate from the University. The University's main goals are the training of potential personnel who have studied several foreign languages and IT technologies, have scientific potential and soft skills, are able to compete with foreign peers equally in science. These graduates, who received education in the fields of international relations, economics and law, can be said to be young people who build the foundation of a new renaissance in Uzbekistan.

In addition, young people from mahallas Bozchi, Beshkapa, Ahmad Yughnaki, Traktorsozlar, Bahor districts of Mirzo Ulugbek district attached to UWED were invited to the event, and they also had the opportunity to communicate with employers and find suitable jobs.
