Day of Foreign Languages was celebrated online

The University of world economy and diplomacy hosted the traditional event "Day of Foreign Languages in UWED". The purpose of this event is to strengthen the motivation of students to learn foreign languages, improve their speech competence, practical application of the acquired skills to solve creative problems, the formation of creative activity and creative thinking of them. Given the epidemiological situation this year, the event was held online on the Zoom platform.

The event was coordinated by the head of the Department of Romano-Germanic Languages Vasila Mamatkasimova and the teaching staff. Students studying French, German, Spanish and Italian were involved in the European Languages Day.

The Day of European Languages was a bright and interesting event in the life of the university, it demonstrated the high creative potential of students, the bright creative personality of individual rooms and the high professionalism of the teachers of the Department of RGL. The number of participants of the online holiday was 100 people. Students showed a good level of proficiency in a foreign language, the ability to use the acquired knowledge to demonstrate their talents. The online meeting was also attended by young people from the mahallas of Mirzo-Ulugbek district attached to the UWED: Buz, Beshkapa, Ahmad Yugnaki, Bahor and Traktorsozlar.

Such events help to maintain the interest and motivation of students to learn the language and play an important role in the educational process.
