The leadership of Narkhoz University, one of the leading universities in Kazakhstan, paid an official visit to Uzbekistan. The delegation was headed by the rector of the university Stanislav Buyansky. He was also accompanied by Gulnara Abdikadirova, Dean of the Higher School of Business at Narkhoz University, Jaylagul Sagindikova Head of International Development and Cooperation and Assistant of Rector Sabit Muhamjanuli.

Rector of University of World Economy and Diplomacy Komiljon Karimov, Vice-Rector for International Relations Saidmukhtor Saidkasimov, Vice-Rector for Research and Innovation Gulnoza Ismailova, Deans of the Faculty of International Law Shuhrat Urunbaev and Faculty of International Economics and Management Mirzo Umid Hamdamov welcomed the leadership of the Kazakh University at the UWED.

Opening the meeting, UWED Rector K.H.Karimov shared with the guests his views on the age-old ties of friendship and cooperation between the brotherly Kazakh and Uzbek peoples, relations in various fields, especially in the field of education. He also briefed the Kazakh professors on the University of World Economy and Diplomacy, its potential and prospects.

Narkhoz University Rector S.G. Buyansky, in turn, thanked his Uzbek colleagues for the warm welcome and meeting. He acknowledged that today he sees a renewed and developing Uzbekistan in all areas. He said that when choosing a partner from Uzbekistan for the university under his leadership, he paid attention to the potential and development of staff at the UWED. After that, the rector of Narkhoz made a presentation about the university. Today, Narkhoz University has more than 70 prestigious partners in 33 countries, including Russia, Lithuania, France and the United Kingdom. Narkhoz University trains economic, financial and business specialists in such fields as Economics and Management, Digital Technologies, School of Business, Law and Social Sciences. Under the motto "Learn today and manage tomorrow", the university aims to provide the market with qualified specialists not only from Kazakhstan or the Central Asian region but also from world standards.

The UWED side expressed interest in applied finance in the areas proposed by Narkhoz University. Due to the high demand and prospects in this area, the two universities initially agreed to train personnel in this area and signed a Memorandum of Cooperation.

In addition, the parties discussed issues related to the organization of double master's programs, holding scientific conferences and round tables for researchers, academic mobility, teaching Kazakh students in Uzbekistan and other promising areas.
