Sardorbek Usmanov has been appointed as adviser to the Minister of higher and secondary specialized education on information policy, head of the information service.

Sardorbek Uraimjonovich Usmanov was born in Andijan in 1985. He graduated from the University of world economy and diplomacy (2006), the Institute of political studies of Toulouse (Master's degree, 2007), the Institute of political studies of Bordeaux (PhD degree, 2011).

He was a two-time laureate of the Eiffel scholarship of excellence by the Ministry of foreign affairs of France. Doctor of political science (DSc).

Previously, he worked as a leading consultant in the department of the Advisor-speechwriter to the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan. He headed the Department of analysis and monitoring, International Press Club.

He taught at the Academy of public administration under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the University of world economy and diplomacy, the University of journalism and mass communications of Uzbekistan.

He lectured at the Institute for European Studies (Belgium), University of Economics in Prague (Czech Republic), a number of universities in Dubai and Sharjah (UAE). He was an expert in diplomacy at the Jan Masaryk Centre of International Studies (Prague).

He is author of analytical articles published in the UK, France, Belgium, Austria, and the Czech Republic.
