Graduate students of Master’s Programm “Guiding and interpreting” had a field trip to a museum of the History of Uzbekistan

This museum is the largest educational institution in Central Asia, founded in 1876. The museum serves as a research institute, the largest repository of monuments of material and spiritual culture, as a multidisciplinary research center and a center for popularizing historical knowledge. It is a subdivision of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Uzbekistan, founded back in 1943.
The purpose of this master class was to improve the skills of conducting excursions in the Museum of the History of Uzbekistan in English. In the course of excursion, the periods of the history of Uzbekistan starting from the most ancient period to the modern period of development of our country were put great emphasis.
It is important to mention that the Master's Program in this area was opened in 2018 and includes such aspects as the accompanying the government delegations in their tours around Uzbekistan and Master classes in history of art, conducted by famous scientists, art historians, museum workers.
