Visit of the Algerian Ambassador to the UWED

Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People's Democratic Republic of Algeria to Uzbekistan H.E. Naser Busherit visited the UWED with a working visit. He was accompanied by the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs of the Embassy of Algeria, Officer for Organizational and Financial Affairs Faisal Salim Bokhtash and First Counselor Fudil Hebib. At first, the distinguished guest met with the university administration to discuss the relationship and future plans. Rector of the University of World Economy and Diplomacy Komiljon Karimov and Vice-Rector for International Relations Saidmukhtor Saidkasimov briefed the Algerian ambassador on the university. The sides also exchanged views on long-term cooperation and diplomatic relations between Uzbekistan and Algeria.
Mr. Naser Busherit visited the UWED for the second time during his tenure in Uzbekistan. He praised the strengthening of various ties between the two countries during this period, the bilateral cooperation in various fields due to the open and friendly foreign policy pursued. Issues such as training qualified personnel in foreign policy through cooperation, creating opportunities for students and teachers to exchange experiences in academic institutions with a two-state MFA structure between the University of World Economy and Diplomacy and the Algerian Diplomatic Institute and International Relations (L'Institut Diplomatique et des Relations Internationales) discussed. The Ambassador said he was always ready to organize a series of lectures for university students and develop bilateral ties.
After the official acquaintance and awarding, the Algerian Ambassador presented his books to the UWED Library Foundation. Naser Busherit, who prefers to communicate and exchange ideas with young people, talked to students and staff of the library. He answered questions from Madina Sunnatova, a second-year student at the faculty of International Economics and Management, and Humoyun Boboev, a fourth-year student at the faculty of International Law, and shared his memories and experiences.
The next meeting of the distinguished ambassador on the agenda was with UWED students. In it, the Ambassador spoke about his country, its opportunities, achievements in the field of education and personal activities in the field of diplomacy. He made recommendations to future colleagues based on the issue of strengthening cooperation between the embassy and the university.
