At the National Centre for Human Rights of the Republic of Uzbekistan there was held a "round table" on constitutional provisions on human rights

On November 19, 2016 at the National Centre for Human Rights of the Republic of Uzbekistan was held a "round table" devoted to constitutional provisions on protection and promotion of human rights in Uzbekistan.

It was attended by employees of the Center, teachers of the UNESCO Chair on "International law and human rights" and 4th year students of the Faculty of "International Law" of the University of World Economy and Diplomacy.

At the event, it was noted that human rights are one of the most important areas of public policy; the government carries out significant work on a wide range of human rights.

At the event, participants exchanged views on the development of international cooperation in the field of human rights, the implementation of international treaties on human rights at the national level. Particular attention was paid to the issue of ensuring the rights of children and women in our country.
