A teacher from the USA begins his lectures at UWED

The UWED welcomed a teacher from the United States, Polly Segelski, who arrived at the University to deliver lectures in the second semester of the 2020-2021 academic year on the subject of "Global Governance".

She was accompanied by the Public Relations Counselor of the US Embassy in Tashkent, Alexis Sullivan, as well as the Public Relations Specialist of this Embassy, ​​S. Musakhanova.

Rector K. Karimov informed the guests in detail about the structure, educational and research activities of UWED, with the prospects for its development.

During the meeting, Ms. Alexis Sullivan highly appreciated the large-scale reforms carried out by President Sh. Mirziyoyev in Uzbekistan in recent years, including in the field of education and science, and also spoke about various American educational and professional exchange programs for students and researchers, including the Fulbright program, within which P. Siegelski arrived at UWED for teaching.
