On Tuesday, February 2, 2021, at 4 pm at the Department of International Relations, a scientific seminar was held on the report of the second year doctoral student Makhmasobirova Y. on the topic “The current state and prospects of cooperation between Uzbekistan and France”.
The scientific seminar was attended by representatives of the administrative and academic staff, as well as Phd students from the University of World Economy and Diplomacy. During the meeting, participants discussed the relevance and current findings of the study. In particular, it was noted that France was one of the first countries to establish official diplomatic relations with Uzbekistan. However, within the framework of the general activity of France in world politics and active and effective political and economic relations of Uzbekistan with other global players, such as the Russian Federation, the People’s Republic of China, the USA, India, the Republic of Korea, Germany, the Uzbek-French cooperation may not seem to be a priority and for Uzbekistan. In this regard, the study of the current state of these relations, the progressive and regressive dynamics and the prospects for their development, the areas that serve to realize the hidden potential of bilateral cooperation is an urgent topic for modern science.
During the seminar, participants discussed the relevance and current findings of the study. The participants also shared their views on the further improvement of the speaker’s dissertation work. It is announced that such workshops will be held on an ongoing basis with an even wider audience.
