The first master class of the Adviser to the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Sumy Chakrabarti

On February 2, 2021, professors, doctoral students and students of UWED took part in the first master class of the Adviser to the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan on economic development, effective management and international cooperation Sumy Chakrabarti.
The topic of the master class was "Leadership Skills", and first HE Mr. Chakrabarti spoke about the organizations with which he worked over the years and the results he has achieved.
To highlight this topic, Suma Chakrabarti laid out 10 lessons for leaders based on his 4 leadership skills and experiences. According to Suma Chakrabarti, these include: the job they are interested in, team building, strategy definition, employee culture, motivation, management principles, management problems, interpersonal skills and a sense of humor.
At the end of the lecture, the audience asked interesting questions, and the conversation ended meaningfully.
For reference: Suma Chakrabarti is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts, Honorary Doctorate of the Universities of Sussex and East Anglia, and the Bucharest Academy of Economic Research.
From 2002 to 2007, he was Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of International Development, and then until 2012, he held a similar position in the Ministry of Justice. During this period, one of his main achievements was recognized as the development and implementation of a new model of the ministry's activities. This saved over £ 1 billion.
From 2012 to 2020, Chakrabarti served as President of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development.
