The International Conference "System Analysis and Modeling of Socio-Economic Processes"
22.12.2020 3085
On December 17, 2020, the University of World Economy and Diplomacy hosted the International Scientific Conference "System Analysis and Modeling of Socio-Economic Processes", organized jointly with the departments "Mathematical Modeling and Information Technologies" and "Systems Analysis and Management" of the Faculty of International Economics and Management ".
It is gratifying that foreign scientists were also interested in the forum. Scientists from the USA (Prof. M. Mascagni, W. J. Trasher), France (Prof. J. Douchet), Japan (Prof. M. Gemma) and Kazakhstan (Prof. K. Shakenov) took part in the evening round table which was devoted to nonlinear Monte Carlo simulation. The conference took place online.
The conference was attended by scientists and researchers from all regions of our republic (Bukhara, Samarkand, Namangan and representatives of universities in Tashkent). Six plenary reports were presented at the conference. In two sections A and B "Mathematical methods of system analysis and management: system analysis in the management of enterprises, territorial complexes, research and other organizations, system analysis of socio-economic processes" and "Modeling of demographic, economic, social processes, methods and information technologies decision support, information technology in science, education, system analysis in the educational process and management of higher education, perspective problems of systems analysis, medicine, economy and industry ”, 64 reports were presented. The program committee selected 36 reports for publication in the conference proceedings.
At the plenary session, the head of department "Mathematical modeling and information technology", prof. A.S. Rasulov told the audience about the goals and objectives of this scientific forum. He briefly outlined the problems of the current state of Systems Analysis and Decision Making, the prospects for scientific research in this direction. Indeed, in essence, he stressed, the goals of mastering system analysis are to study the system approach, methods of system analysis and mathematical modeling, mastering the skills of applying the methodology of system analysis and mathematical methods of formalizing the solution of applied problems in the analysis and optimization of socio-economic systems and processes, in the analysis and synthesis of information systems. He elaborated on the problems of teaching the System Analysis course and on the creation of a national textbook. The purpose of this conference to bring together and conduct a scientific exchange of views between researchers, scientists, doctoral students, masters, bachelors, whose scientific interests concern, these areas have been achieved.
