Meeting of UWED students with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Uzbekistan to the Sultanate of Oman, Anvar Abdukhalimov

As part of the educational hour on December 5, 2020, the faculty of International relations organized an online meeting with the high-ranking representative of our country in the Sultanate of Oman, Anvar Abdukhalimov. At the beginning of the meeting, the guest congratulated the participants on the upcoming Constitution Day and noted that the renewal and creation taking place in our country today, large-scale reforms that are rising to a qualitatively new level and their results are the fruits of the legal guarantees enshrined in the Constitution. He also noted that over the past 3 years, Uzbekistan's image in the international arena has improved due to the large-scale reforms put forward by the head of state.

The second part of the event was devoted to questions from the audience. In particular, the issues related to the student period of our graduate, his diplomatic career and work as the head of the diplomatic mission of our country abroad. It should be noted that on November 5, 2020, at the “al-Baraka” Palace, Ambassador of Uzbekistan Anvar Abdukhalimov presented his credentials to Sultan of Oman Haysam bin Tariq al said. Then, during the meeting, the head of state expressed his satisfaction with the level of development of bilateral relations.

During the event, the participants also exchanged views on the current and future state of Uzbek-Omani cooperation in various spheres. During the conversation, online participants and students received answers to all their questions.
