An exchange of experience in online teaching took place between UWED and the Ural Economic University (USUE) with the participation of heads of departments

The second extended meeting of rectors and heads of departments, scientific departments of UWED and USUE was devoted to the issues of quality assurance of educational processes in the context of distance learning, as well as the implementation of new joint projects of cooperation in specialized areas.

Rectors K.Kh. Karimov and Ya.P. Silin outlined in detail the main positions of their universities on the identified problem.

During the negotiations, the sides discussed practical issues of implementing the tasks, in particular, in the field of science and education, outlined in the resolution of the President of Uzbekistan Sh.M. Mirziyoyev "On measures to further expand bilateral strategic cooperation and allied relations between the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Russian Federation."

During a lively and meaningful discussion, the parties decided to cooperate on the basis of a joint action plan, in particular, to expand academic interactions, lecture online, exchange curricula, research results, scientific, educational, methodological and periodicals, conduct joint scientific practical conferences with the participation of researchers, undergraduates and students.

An agreement was also reached on organizing student forums and contacts on topical youth topics. The participation of UWED students in the Eurasian Economic Forum of Youth in 2021, traditionally organized by USUE, in which students and young researchers present their startup projects, carry out research work within the framework of a given competition topic, has been confirmed.
