The court hearing was held at the university

S. Abduganiev, the judge of Mirzo-Ulugbek district criminal court was presiding at the court hearing/trial (on bbb.uwed.uz) that was held at UWED on November 11, 2020. The judge heard the criminal case under Part 1 of Article 169 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

The participants of the trial were the following: O. Yusufzhanov, Acting Associate Professor, F. Toshev, Deputy Dean of the Faculty of International Law and second-year students of International law faculty. The event was aiming at integration of theory and practice in educational process, suggesting students plenty of techniques to practically witness the entire criminal process. Within the course the audience was given enough opportunities to apply and demonstrate knowledge acquired in the theoretical education. The Judge was providing with explanatory notes every session to provide better case interpretation. Before delivering the verdict, the Judge inquired about the audience's opinion on the sentencing. At the end of the proceeding, there was held question-and-answer session where the students discussed the issues of interest.
