Empowerment of cooperation was discussed in online negotioations between UWED administaration and Korean Agency for international cooperartion (KOICA)

On 4th November of the current year was held negotioations in on-line between Korean Agency for international cooperartion (KOICA) and University of world economy and diplomacy (UWED) MFA of Uzbekistan.

In negotioations from the Korean side participated Pak Sundjin - Director of KOICA office in Uzbekistan, and also A.Shomirzaev – manager assistant in cases of volunteers.

Rector of UWED Karimov K.H., head of the department for international cooperation Mukhitdinov A.I., head of the Chair oriental languages Gafurova H.SH. represented UWED.

At the beginning conversation Rector of UWED Karimov K.H. warmly congratulated Ms. Pak Sundjin with the appoitment of the high position Head of  KOICA office in Uzbekistan and truly wished her further success in the work.

During the meeting was discussed further empowerment of cooperation with KOICA agency. In particular, discussions took place about activization of the various educational programmes for volonteers working through Agency.

Based on the meeting the sides agreed to jointly develop educational programmes for students of UWED in-depth study knowledge of the Korean language,history,culture, particularities and traditions of the Republic of Korea.

On the meeting Ms. Pak Sundjin praised the work of Shukurov Shukurullo UWED alumnus 2018 at KOICA office in Uzbekistan,  currently desk officer of KOICA.

In turn rector of UWED Karimov K.H. invited Head of KOICA office in Uzbekistan Ms. Pak Sundjin to attend UWED in order to benefit with it’s capacity and continue negotiations.

For the record: Korean agency for international cooperation (KOICA) was established  in 1991 by MFA of Korea to be governmental organization with a view to improving efficiency of grant in-aid programme to South Korea for developing countries through realization governmental grant in-aid and programmes of technical cooperation.
