Corporate cooperation in the field of information

In the age of information, the information society, various government agencies, departments, universities, enterprises, organizations, service sectors strive to expand their relationships, increase the scale of their activities, transparency and growth of their image, and active participation in society. A significant role in this is played by press services, press centers, public relations departments and other structures. The UWED press service is also doing a lot in this direction. Its tasks are to prepare and publish in the media, on radio, television, online networks, information messages about the work, international contacts, and the success of the UWED.

Its function is also broad coverage of the life of students, the achievements of faculties, departments, scientists, teachers, the results of their research in the field of political science, jurisprudence, economics, etc. It also establishes relations with related departments of other universities. Representatives of the UWED, headed by the head of the press department K. Shaakramov, recently visited and got acquainted with the work of the same information department and the work of the fledu.uz portal of the Uzbek State University of World Languages.

Dean of the Faculty of International Journalism Amrullo Ashurovich Karimov and press secretary of  UzSWL Otabek Ibragimov spoke about the specifics of their work with information. Dean A. Karimov says that in providing the resource with materials, news, messages, an asset of gifted student-journalists provides a substantial help.

This is a good practice for them and an opportunity to realize their creative talents and ideas. Many of them themselves offer interesting topics, headings and write materials, shoot various stories of student life with their cameras. The site of the press service is supplied with information from all language departments and faculties of UzSUWL. Her channel has more than 7.5 thousand subscribers and has established a good connection with such popular media as kun.uz, nuz.uz., daryo.uz. and etc.

The organization of the fledu.uz portal, created by the decree of the Cabinet of Ministers of the republic in 2013, also made a great impression. At first, it functioned on the basis of the publication of the electronic journal "Foreign Languages in Uzbekistan", and then a media platform appeared, headings "News", "Articles", other sections and subsections. Today it is, one might say, a powerful information center that has a wide access to the world audience, with the participation of international experts, linguists, philologists, political scientists, scientists, educators. Experienced specialists, editors, designers, programmers work here. This portal is headed by an active, creative person, journalist Gulmira Shukurova. The editorial office regularly holds online meetings, discussions on topical issues of education, organizes, with the involvement of foreign linguists, online lessons for learning foreign languages at different levels, and also conducts student quizzes, contests for knowledge of history, literature, biographies of famous figures of Uzbekistan, etc.

The deputy director of the portal Ulugbek Bekmuradov and the head of the editing section Khairiniso Ulzhaeva told about all the features of their work on the preparation and publication of information on online pages with such interest and enthusiasm that it became obvious why fledu.uz. so successful in the global media market. This was achieved in the editorial office thanks to the creation of a union of creative employees of philologists, journalists and specialists in communication technology. With these departments of UZGWL, we have drawn up a project on corporate cooperation and exchange of information materials.
