UWED student is a high honor and responsibility

On October 13, 2020, UWED hosted a meeting of professors, teachers, university staff with freshmen of the faculties of International Law and International Relations.

Studentship is a big and significant time in the life of every young person who enters the university. The faces of all freshmen shone with happiness and joy, they realized the significance of this event, this is their first step in mastering their future profession. The first day at the university will remain in their memory for a long time.

The meeting was opened by the rector of UWED Komiljon Khamidovich Karimov.  He congratulated the young people on admission to the UWED and wished them success in their studies, spoke about the traditions established here, successes in science and training highly qualified specialists. The high honor of being a student of this prestigious university imposes a great responsibility on the students.

Speaking on behalf of the teaching staff of the university, they expressed the hope that today's freshmen in the future, becoming graduates of UWED, will make their worthy contribution to the prosperity of our country, enhancing its image and status in the world community.

At the meeting, freshmen were provided with information on the organization of the educational process, forms of assessment of progress. The first-year students of the Faculties of International Law and International Relations on their first day at the university also got acquainted with the academic buildings, the resource center and other cultural and household departments of the UWED. They were also provided with conditions for working in a computer room for the purposeof training in a MOODLE system.
