The Senate of the Oliy Majlis of Uzbekistan decided to appoint Akhatov Dilshod Hamidovich as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Uzbekistan to India.

He is one of the first graduates of the University of World Economy and Diplomacy.

Dilshod Akhatov has rich experience in diplomatic activity, he has worked in various senior positions in the central apparatus of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

He worked as the ambassador of Uzbekistan to Germany (concurrently in Switzerland, the Czech Republic, Sweden and Spain), in recent years he has held the position of Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs.
