The legal clinic at the UWED held a meeting of the visiting court

On February 27, 2020, at the Legal clinic of the UWED were held a simulation of the trial, which is the final stage of training to develop professional skills of a lawyer. The judge in the simulation of the trial was Sattarov Omon Ilhamovich, the current judge of the Mirzo-Ulugbek Interdistrict court for civil cases in Tashkent.

Before starting this process, the head of the UWED Legal clinic Ubaydullayev Ziyodulla Sagdullayevich made an introductory speech. He introduced the judge and described the purpose of the event.

Participants in the process were 2nd and 3rd year students who represented both sides - the plaintiffs and defendants. They prepared relevant documents, collected evidence, and presented their positions before the court.

At the end of the process, the judge made a decision, which he then commented on. He focused on what other skills need to be developed for successful participation in the process. The event was useful for all participants.
