Information on participation in teacher- training seminar within British Council project “Employability in HE: EMI”

On February 10-14, 2020 intensive seminar trainings took place with the support of the British Councils and the Ministry of Higher and Secondary Special Education. The trainings were conducted within the frame of the project "English as a Medium of Instruction", which aims at developing teaching of different subjects and modules in English, working out strategies in this area and developing the skills of teachers to develop effective materials for teaching and assessment. Another focus of the project is to establish a cooperation between subject teachers and ESP teachers to enhance the teaching process in English. The teachers of UWED Irmuhammedova G.N., Abdullaev A., and Vokhidova N. participated in the training and received certificates for successful completion of a 40 hour intensive course. The books for teaching the subjects in English as well as for teaching English have been presented to UWED.
