A delegation of the Japanese University of Nagoya visited the UWED

Representative delegation of Nagoya University represented by Director of the Asian Institute of Satellite Campuses Nagoya University prof. Fumio Isoda, Nishizaki Yuriko - Head of Department of the Department of International Affairs, Executive Director of the Representative Office of Nagoya University and graduate of the UWED Eldorjon Elmurodov visited the UWED with a working visit.

The main purpose of the meeting was to discuss and specify issues of further cooperation in the field of education and science in the light of the agreements reached during the visit of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Sh.M. Mirziyoyev to Nagoya University in 2019.

Practical issues of sending on a regular basis candidate for a 2-year study at the Nagoya University magistracy, starting in 2020, based on the recommendations of an open competition among UWED bachelors, are examined.

The parties discussed in detail the further stages and directions of activity of the only Analytical Research Center of Japan formed in the UWED, the only in the Central Asian region.

It was decided to start regular online courses and lectures by professors of Nagoya University in Japanese and English.

In order to more deeply study the foundations of the Japanese legal system, the UWED discussed the implementation of joint educational programs with student representatives of the University of Nagoya, student exchange, which will be an important prerequisite for the successful training of highly qualified specialists with good knowledge of the Japanese language, as well as the political, legal, economic and financial systems of Japan in whole.
