The ambassador of japan is conferred the title of honorary doctor of the University of world economy and diplomacy

On August 9, 2016 it was held a meeting with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Japan Fumihiko Kato at the University of World Economy and Diplomacy under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

At the event, the rector of the university Abdumalik Djumanov announced the decision of the Academic Council of the university to conferring the title of Honorary Doctor of the UWED to the Ambassador and handed him the diploma.

Academic Council’s decision recognized personal achievements of  Fumihiko Kato in the progressive development of Uzbek-Japanese cooperation in political, economic, investment, cultural and humanitarian and other spheres.

In his response, Ambassador sincerely thanked for the appreciation of his activity.
