An international scientific and practical conference on "Innovation Potential as a Condition for the Development of the Country’s International Investment Activity"

On March 14, 2020, the University of World Economy and Diplomacy is holding an international scientific and practical conference on “Innovation Potential as a Condition for the Development of the Country’s International Investment Activity”.

The purpose of this conference is to develop scientific and practical proposals and recommendations aimed at improving the issues dealing with attracting foreign investment in the country.

In order to strengthen integration in the science-education-production system, the conference provides for the participation of the faculty of higher educational institutions, researchers, scientists and specialists in this field, representatives of ministries and enterprises of various sectors of the economy.

The conference will be held in the following session:

• Session 1. Improving the organizational and legal mechanisms to support the innovation economy;
• Session 2. Actual problems of attracting investment and introducing innovations into the modern educational system;
• Session 3. Prospects for the development of a “green economy”: global and regional aspects;
• Session 4. The role of international financial institutions and regional organizations in attracting foreign investment.

Requirements for accepting articles reports:

To participate in the conference, by February 20, 2020, an electronic version of the thesis (in a separate file) must be sent to the organizing committee at the following address: nmalikov@uwed.uz 

Articles of reports are provided in Uzbek, Russian or English with a volume of not more than 4 printed pages. Grammatical errors are not allowed in the abstract.

The articles presented for participation in the conference should clearly and concisely state the results obtained in the process of the research in the following order:

• theses having scientific and practical results, problems and suggestions are made out in the order of listing;
• articles containing scientific results are made out by a summary of the obtained scientific results;
• articles of a recommendatory nature consist of the name of the activities aimed at solving a specific problem and their brief description.

Articles should be edited and meet all technical requirements for design, in particular:

• text editor - MS Word 2003, 2007, 2010;
• page settings - book A4 format, borders on all sides by 20 mm;
• font - Times New Roman, size (size) - 14;
• line spacing and paragraph indentation - 1.5;
• in the upper right corner - full name, surname and patronymic, scientific degree and scientific title, position of the author, name of organization, email, phone number; in the middle
• the title of the thesis (in bold capital letters);
• all tables, diagrams, and figures are prepared in MS Word format, font Times New Roman, and their name is located below the diagrams and figures, and above the tables;
• the tables, figures and graphs should contain the sources (links - at the end of each page);
• links - at the end of each page (in each page the numbering of links starts anew);
• The list of used literature is compiled in alphabetical order.

Submitted articles are examined for compliance with the above requirements. Articles that have received a positive expert evaluation will be included in the publication.

The registration fee is 40 000 soums.

Payment includes publication of an article in the conference proceedings in electronic form.
