Discussion "Plan of research and innovation activities of the University of World Economy and Diplomacy for 2020"

On December 7, 2019, under the leadership of the Vice-Rector on Scientific affairs and Innovations G. Ismayilova, the “Plan of research and innovation activities of the University of World Economy and Diplomacy for 2020” was discussed with the heads of the departments.

At the meeting, special attention was paid to the priority areas of scientific and innovative activities of the university in 2020, including the training of scientific and pedagogical personnel, improving the efficiency of young scientists and the scientific potential of the university, timely defend of doctoral students, the activities of departments and centers, a draft plan of conferences at the international and national levels, further improving the effectiveness of scientific grants, attracting talented young people to scientific activities.

Based on the proposals of the participants in the meeting, amendments and additions were made to the “Plan of Research and Innovation Activities of the University of World Economy and Diplomacy for 2020” and submitted to the Academic Council of the University.

Among the proposals that deserves special attention, expressed by the head of the Department of International Relations, U. Khasanov, to publish an article in the journal "International Relations" of the UWED with the aim of revealing the role of Al-Khwarizmi in the field of international relations. The professor emphasized that the discoveries of Al-Khwarizmi make a worthy contribution not only to the development of science, but also to the development of international relations.
