A problem lecture in English was held by a senior lecturer in English at a senior fellow at the Center for South Asia of the Atlantic Council of the USA, Doctor of Law at Georgetown University, a recognized expert in the field of economic diplomacy Mark Linscott on the topic: "Features of entry into the World Trade Organization", which is of particular relevance for Uzbekistan in the period preparing her entry into this international organization.

During the lecture, an active discussion unfolded at which students, with the participation of their teachers and doctoral students, discussed the current issues of Uzbekistan's accession to the WTO, its opportunities and prospects for the development of trade, export potential, transport and logistics opportunities, strengthening the capital market and attracting innovation and investment in our country through the WTO. On the example of identical countries, the problems arising upon entry into the WTO were thoroughly examined.

The guest, who has been a special representative of the United States in the WTO for a long time, openly and directly answered questions and spoke about his rich experience in the field of negotiations and economic diplomacy, which caused great interest among the audience.

At the end of the meeting, prof. M. Linscott praised the preparedness of the audience, especially knowledge of the English language.
