The participants of the seminar organized by the Institute for Strategic Analysis and Interregional Studies under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the University of World Economy and Diplomacy discussed the approaches and priority directions for the participation of the Republic of Uzbekistan in the Turkic Council, issues of cooperation within the framework of this international organization, as well as the main problems of stable and sustainable development in Central Asia. The seminar is held as part of the implementation of the adopted documents and the initiatives put forward by the Republic of Uzbekistan during the meeting of the Cooperation Council of Turkic Speaking States (October 15, 2019, Baku).

The relevance of the topics of the seminar is determined by the need for scientific research of the features of modern trends in international cooperation of Central Asian countries, through the prism of participation of the Republic of Uzbekistan in the Turkic Council, as well as issues related to the implementation of the "Strategy of Action".

The seminar was attended by representatives and leading experts of the Institute of Strategic and Interregional Studies under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the State Committee for Tourism Development of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Union of Writers of Uzbekistan and research institutes.

The participants of the seminar discussed the prospects of Uzbekistan's participation in the Turkic Council in the areas of economic development, tourism, implementation of infrastructure projects, cultural and humanitarian cooperation.

During the seminar, participants emphasized its importance in promoting interdisciplinary cooperation between scientists and specialists from various scientific fields and analytical centers of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
